Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Serengeti Flavour Safaris representative and transferred to your accommodation in Arusha. After settling in, you can relax and recover from your journey or take some time to explore Arusha and its surroundings. Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania's Northern Safari Circuit and offers a fascinating introduction to the country's culture and landscapes. Enjoy a peaceful evening in the city as you prepare for the wildlife adventure ahead. Main Destination: Arusha City

After breakfast, meet your safari guide and begin your journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. The route takes you through scenic countryside and Maasai communities, with views of acacia-dotted plains and rural Tanzanian life along the way. Once inside Tarangire, embark on your first game drive through a landscape shaped by ancient baobabs, open savannah, seasonal wetlands, and the Tarangire River. The park is especially famous for its large elephant herds, while giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and many other species can also be encountered. Your guide will help you discover the wildlife and hidden corners of the park before you continue towards the Karatu area. Main Destination: Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, leave Karatu and head towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. The journey is long but exceptionally scenic, taking you through changing landscapes before the vast plains of the Serengeti begin to unfold. As you enter the park, you will quickly understand why Serengeti means "endless plains." Golden grasslands stretch towards the horizon, broken by rocky kopjes and scattered acacia trees. The park is home to an extraordinary variety of wildlife and forms the stage for the Great Wildebeest Migration, when millions of wildebeest and large numbers of zebra and gazelle move across the ecosystem in search of fresh grazing and water. Spend the afternoon enjoying your first game drive in the Serengeti, with opportunities to search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife before heading to your camp. Main Destination: Central Serengeti National Park

Rise early for an exciting morning game drive in Central Serengeti. As the first light spreads across the plains, watch the wilderness come alive and look for animals beginning their day among the dew-covered grasses. After your morning exploration, enjoy breakfast in the park before continuing your wildlife adventure. With more time for game viewing and a packed lunch, you will explore the Serengeti further as you gradually make your way towards the park's exit. The day's journey provides another opportunity to experience the remarkable landscapes and wildlife of the Serengeti before continuing towards the Ngorongoro area for the evening. Main Destination: Central Serengeti National Park

After an early start, journey into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and prepare for one of Tanzania's most spectacular wildlife experiences. Descend from the crater rim into the vast caldera of Ngorongoro Crater, where steep walls surround a diverse landscape of grasslands, woodland, wetlands, and a soda lake. The crater supports a remarkable concentration of wildlife, giving you excellent opportunities to encounter lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, hippos, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino. As you explore the crater floor, the dramatic scenery creates an unforgettable backdrop for every wildlife encounter. After your game drive and picnic lunch, ascend from the crater and continue towards the Mto wa Mbu area for the evening. Main Destination: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a compact but remarkably diverse park lying beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Its landscapes range from open grasslands and seasonal wetlands to lush groundwater forests and dramatic cliffs. During your game drive, look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, hippos, and numerous bird species. Lake Manyara is also known for its tree-climbing lions, although sightings are never guaranteed. The lake itself attracts a variety of waterbirds, adding another dimension to the park's wildlife experience. After exploring the park and enjoying lunch, return towards Arusha. From there, take your flight to Zanzibar and begin the tropical chapter of your journey. Main Destination: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, begin your exploration of Zanzibar with a journey into the island's fascinating history and culture. Explore the atmospheric streets of Stone Town, where Swahili, Arab, Indian, and European influences have shaped the city's architecture, traditions, and way of life. Continue with a boat excursion to Prison Island, known for its historic significance and population of giant tortoises. Enjoy time around the island and its clear surrounding waters before returning to Zanzibar. Later, discover another important part of the island's identity on a Spice Tour. Learn about the tropical fruits, herbs, and spices that have made Zanzibar famous for centuries, including cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, ginger, and nutmeg. Main Destination: Zanzibar Stone Town

Today is dedicated to slowing down and enjoying the tropical beauty of Zanzibar. Spend your day relaxing on the island's white-sand beaches, swimming in the warm turquoise waters, or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere beneath the palm trees. Whether you prefer a quiet day by the ocean or want to experience one of Zanzibar's optional water-based activities, this is your opportunity to unwind after several days of safari adventure. As the sun begins to set over the Indian Ocean, take in the beauty of the island and savor your final full day in Zanzibar. Main Destination: Zanzibar Island

Enjoy your final morning in Zanzibar and take in one last moment of the island's tropical beauty. Depending on your departure time, you may have an opportunity to relax before your airport transfer. At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight, bringing your Tanzanian safari and beach adventure to an end. From the wildlife-rich plains of the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater to the shores of Zanzibar, you will leave with memories of an extraordinary journey through Tanzania.
